We Believe in CDs! (but dig mp3’s too)

I really like CD's, for a lot of reasons.  As a producer I spend a lot of time and money making my recordings sound the best they possibly can, and short of coming to my studio in person, CD's are the best way to experience the music.  Besides audio quality, however, I am also very proud of the artwork and liner notes for all of my releases, and unfortunately with the state of digital distribution, there is no way to provide these for mp3's in the way that I would like (this is one of my pet peeves about itunes, btw).

So in the effort to encourage people to actually buy the CD's of my bittersound releases, I am lowering the prices on all of my CD's to match the price you would pay to download the album on itunes!  In fact, I'm lowering them a little extra, to help offset the cost of S&H! So if you are someone like me, who really likes the experience of getting a CD, looking at the artwork, reading the liner notes, and hearing the best quality audio you can, now you can get the CD for less than the price of downloading it!

Of course, if you like downloading your music ( the whole instant gratification and convenience thing ), you can still get Handwritten, Christmas Snowfall, Exit Terra, Organic Mechanic, and Action / Reaction from the itunes store as well as from our Snocap store.

It seems like everybody loves itunes and has an ipod, but did you know that there are other ways to download music on the web?  One of the biggest alternatives to itunes is Snocap, the online digital store that you see on Myspace pages.  Well, bittersound has a Snocap store as well, one that you can access directly from our website!  One of the nicest things about Snocap, as a small independent label, is that the artist can directly alter the content and pricing in their Snocap store, rather than having to go through Apple's bureaucracy.

So in an effort to encourage people to check out and use Snocap, I am offering a special limited time pricing on my Retrofunk Instrumentals EP- only $1.99, and only available through the bittersound Snocap store! So go check it out right away, and let me know if Snocap is as satisfying to use as itunes!
